Job Summary   

We are seeking a motivated and experienced recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will source candidates, conduct phone screenings, and coordinate the hiring process to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This flex position offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site at Black & Veatch's world headquarters, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts in recruitment and HR processes.

• Sources candidates through internet and resume database searches, referrals, former employees/candidates/applicants, cold calling and ad placements to fill current employment openings.
• Conducts phone screening with candidates to determine if position requirements are met, as well organizational fit. Forwards top prospects to hiring department for review.
• Sets up interviews and develops interview questions.
• Ensures hiring manager has quality information for hiring decisions, such as application, resume, transcripts, references, etc.
• Coordinates transfer of internal candidates with current and receiving managers.
• Discusses external market conditions with hiring manager, such as compensation, relocation, etc, to assist in the decision process.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements Flex position with ablity to work from home two days per week and from the Black & Veatch world headquarters building three days per week

Skills Required

• 2+ years related HR experience
• Previous recruiting experience strongly preferred; managing applicants throughout the candidate lifecycle: resume review, candidate screening, interview coordination, gathering and documenting hiring manager feedback, extending offers, etc.

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
