We’re looking for a Front End Software Development Intern to join our Cloud team. As a Front End Software Development Intern, you’ll use Tailwind CSS to make the components of our fleet management product responsive across a variety of screen sizes. You’ll be exposed to a variety of web development tools, like templating languages, server-side rendering, asset pipelines, git, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests, and Ruby on Rails.
Responsibilities
Turn fleet.nikolamotor.com into a responsive site that lays out nicely on phone, tablet, laptop, and ultra-wide screens
Qualifications
Persuing a degree in computer science or another field relating to web development
Strong capability with CSS
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Ruby, Tailwind CSS, and server-side rendering
Ability to work with website front ends that are not built on a front-end framework
Ability to balance working effectively in a team with working independently
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
