Position Overview: As a Dental Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient scheduling process. Your role is crucial in maintaining our practice's workflow, ensuring that our dental professionals can deliver the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and consultations efficiently and accurately.
• Manage the appointment calendar, optimizing the schedule to maximize productivity.
• Confirm and remind patients of their appointments via phone, email, or text.
• Handle patient inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with dental staff to accommodate urgent or emergency appointments.
• Maintain patient records and update the scheduling system regularly.
• Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and insurance claims as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a dental office is required.
• Customer Service experience is required.
• Previous experience in a dental office or medical scheduling is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in dental scheduling software is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
