Job Description

ATARID has been retained to identify an Asset Manager by our client, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in commercial real estate assets:

Title: Asset Manager - Retail Assets

Responsibilities:

-Onboarding new assets, capital projects, major tenant improvement/construction projects and value-add during the asset lifecycle, focus on increased occupancy rates across the portfolio.
-Formulate and execute short- and long-term asset plans while utilizing the company's broader strategic objectives. Present recommendations and performance data to senior management and partners in a professional and effective manner.
-Effectively drive value creation and performance of assets in accordance with the company's investment, value creation strategy
-Develop and execute annual business plans by ensuring all departments work together to achieve goals and objective of each asset
-Assess and manage risks associated with current assets
-Stay abreast of market trends related to demographics, job growth, economic drivers that affect the portfolio and act accordingly
-Analyze property value timeline to forecast for future estimated value
-Analyze and evaluate portfolio progress and enact necessary changes
-Monitor asset performance against benchmarks including company objectives, metrics, budget, and markets
-Monitor and provide analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reports

Qualifications:

-3+ years' successful asset management experience of retail assets.
-Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting
-Self-starter with demonstrated success in asset management
-Adept written and oral communication skills, analytically and strategically minded with ability to execute tactically
-Strong financial background with knowledge of real estate
-Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google tools.
-Organized, detailed with ability to meet deadlines, and execute projects
-Results driven, team player with ability to collaborate across the organization

Location: Office based in Seattle, WA

Compensation: To $180,000 commensurate with experience, plus Extensive Benefits Package and Bonus.
